Need to make up a Rotary meeting that you missed?  Choose an option below:

Make Up On-Line by visiting the Rotary eClub One website

Click on eClub One Rotary Club  Then click on Makeups and then How to Do a Makeup. Consider starting with watching "The Boys of 2005". What a hoot! (Note: keep track of the approximate time spent on the website. You will be asked for this at the end of the session. Thirty minutes is the minimum, but it likely will go fast as you check out the site and watch any of the videos or read any of the articles.)

At the end of your session, you also will be asked for your District number (7430), your club's name and the email address of your club Secretary

(currently Linda Yonkin: The makup information will be emailed to the Secretary.

Make Up by visiting other Rotary clubs. Be sure to request a "Makeup" slip from the visited club and give it to the club's Secretary.

Other Ways to Makeup or Otherwise get Credit for Attending

Participation in club events can be counted as make-ups. The RI Manual of Procedure permits meeting make-ups by participation in a club service project, attending a club-sponsored community event  or meeting authorized by the board, attending a board meeting, or attending a meeting of a service committee to which the member is assigned. Members should advise the Secretary of their participation.

Note that any Rotarian who has upcoming commitments or conflicts that will interfere with meeting attendance should ask the Board of Directors for an excused absence. This will be communicated to the rest of the club so they can understand the reason for the absence and be in a welcoming mode when the Rotarian starts attending again.

If a Rotarian is called away unexpectedly, thus missing a regular meeting, and subsequently produces evidence to the satisfaction of the Board that such action was reasonable, the Rotarian shall be counted as attending.

There is also the "85 Rule", which lets a member whose years as a member when added to his or her age is 85 or more, may request, in writing to the Board, to be excused from the attendance requirement.
